Wall Street banks, the Banking Policy Institute (BPI), supported the law of Senator Elizabeth Warren, an active crypto critic, calling for more control over the crypto market.
According to a Bloomberg report, Warren has reintroduced a bill called the “Anti-Money Laundering in Digital Assets Act of 2023.” It was developed together with West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin, Kansas Republican Roger Marshall and South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham.
BPI has demonstrated its support for the bill, which requires greater transparency of transactions with digital assets in order to combat the financing of terrorism.
