The digital Belarusian ruble offers a number of advantages for the population and business, the local Central Bank assures.

The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus is interested in using the digital Belarusian ruble in cross-border trade.

This was stated in a special report by Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Belarus Dmitry Kalechitsa. The document states that the digital Belarusian ruble offers “a number of advantages for the population, business, banks and the state.”
