The solution is designed to combine dapps in both public and private blockchains.

Initially, CCIP will be available in the Arbitrum Goerli, Avalanche Fuji, Ethereum Sepolia, Optimism Goerli and Polygon Mumbai testnet.

Unlike typical inter-network bridges using “wrapped” assets, CCIP from Chainlink uses mechanisms with support for smart contracts between “verified token pools” in different blockchains.

According to the developers, this approach ensures smooth interaction between different chains.
