Coinbase, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has recently made a significant decision to discontinue its trading services for Indian users, effective September 25. In an email communication addressed to its Indian user base, the company has strongly recommended that they initiate the process of withdrawing all funds from their accounts promptly. Additionally, Coinbase has taken the step of suspending new registrations from Indian users and has encouraged them to explore the option of downloading the Coinbase Wallet instead. This strategic move has been prompted by mounting regulatory challenges in India, which have even led to the departure of two senior executives from the cryptocurrency exchange.
