According to the statement, BitMEX will switch from the patronizing sponsor of the team’s game form to the official trading partner of AC Milan in cryptocurrency, seeking to increase the presence of the BitMEX brand by connecting to the global fan base of the club. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
“We are very pleased to strengthen our partnership with Milan. In addition to the charity projects we have worked on together, we appreciate and welcome the spirit of rivalry and the sense of connection that arises from it,” said BitMEX CEO and group CFO Stefan Lutz.
Lutz highlighted the new BitMEX Guilds social trading feature as an example of products designed for the club’s fans. Guilds allow merchants to team up and trade together to compete with other groups.
