Elon Musk has long said he wants to transform Twitter, which he bought last year for $44 billion, into a much larger platform. He previously praised WeChat—a so—called “comprehensive app” that combines chat, dating, payments and social media- and said creating something “even close to that with Twitter… would be a huge success.”
In a post on X this week, Musk said that in the coming months, “we will add comprehensive communications and the ability to manage your entire financial world.”
