As you know, Bitcoin is created using mining, a process that uses equipment to solve complex mathematical problems and verify transactions on the blockchain network. For their work, miners are rewarded with a predetermined amount of Bitcoin for each block of transactions.
According to the Blockchain Council, more than 19 million BTC has been awarded to miners in the form of block rewards.
As soon as the last Bitcoin is received, miners will not be able to receive rewards.
However, despite the loss of block rewards, miners will continue to play an important role in verifying and recording transactions on the blockchain.
