The results of the study show that in May 2023, the number of cryptocurrency owners reached 420 million people, which is approximately 4.2% of the total population. Among the countries with the largest number of crypto users are the USA (46 million), India (27 million), Pakistan (26 million), Nigeria (22 million) and Vietnam (20 million).

However, the percentage ratio reveals a different picture. Analysts analyzed the share of ownership of cryptocurrencies from the total population of each country. It turned out that in the USA about 13% of citizens use digital money, and in Vietnam this figure is more than 20%. In Ukraine, more than 10% of the population have cryptocurrencies, which exceeds 3.7 million people.
